Why Your Car Game Sucks: Project C.A.R.S.
It doesn’t suck. I can’t say anything bad about it, even in jest. So thanks for that, jerks. Guess I’ll go pick on someone else’s car game.

Only bad thing... No classic Bitchin’ Chevy’s to slide around the racetrack.

How do you like your racing games and have you ever played iRacing?

Why Your Car Game Sucks: Project C.A.R.S.
Because it’s a video game and I generally don’t enjoy them, but now I have annoying car noises coming from the other room and a pile of dirty dishes in the sink reminding me that someone is neglecting his end of the “I cook, you clean” bargain.

ETA he actually just got up to go do them, I’m a jerk

I hope to get back into since I pretty much hated it at launch as the Xbox One version was a staggering level of broken and it got swept away by The Witcher 3. Fortunately for Project Cars, The Witcher 3 is also broken so back to Project Cars since it has allegedly been patched.

Psh... Consoles. I spend multiple thousands of dollars to play games at 60 fps at 4K.
But seriously, You can build a decent PC for the price of an Xbone.

iRacing wasn’t bad, I’m not into subscription based gaming though. Plus I have a wheel, but I hate it, the ergonomics are all wrong and i don’t have space/money to build a giant sim rig. Plus I don’t play near as many hours of games since I moved in with Yamahog.
I was a big fan of NFS Shift2:unleashed which was done by slightlymad. I like my racing games close to a sim, but with a little arcadey-ness to them. Even with really good sims its difficult to recreate the sensation of a race. Grand Turismo is incredibly boring to me as you never feel you’re going fast, lots of cars dont act like they should, i mean it feels like everything is understeering.

I own one which I got at the exact same price (£430). However I prefer using my Xbox. It runs cool & quiet and I don’t have to deal with updates or DRM.

So this like the one game I got for pc. Is anyone buying it for pc?

Steam. Steam is as much DRM as XBONE or PS4. My PC is actually quieter than PS4.

Does Steam allow you set a computer as your main computer so you can use your games without having to login? If yes, where since that would be very useful to me with my crappy internet.
Also I don’t have a PS4 so I don’t know whether or not that is good.

Yes, and no, there is offline mode once you login and download. If you have dialup, forget it.
